Some of those communities disappeared. Some survived. Many left traces that can still be found in streets, buildings, cemeteries, archives, and living communities today.

The Modern Chroniclers: Our Legacy

Named after Benjamin of Tudela, the 12th-century traveller who spent decades documenting the breath of Jewish life across the known world, Tudela Global is the modern evolution of that tradition.
Just as Benjamin carried his journals across the known world to see the Jewish communities for himself, we pick up the mantle with the tools of 21st-century storytelling.
We follow this legacy by being present on the ground: we go to the places, walk the routes, meet the people, and record exactly what we find.
By immersing ourselves in the global Jewish narrative, we bridge two eras of exploration and ensure that the "Book of Travels" remains a living, breathing, and visible map for the modern traveler. We don't just research from afar, we carry the story forward.
